Interview med min far Prakash Dhakal
Hvornår blev du født?
I was born in 1981
Hvor blev du født henne?
In Nepal. My mother told me, she was working in fields when I was born. Suddenly she gave birth to me there in the field with the help of her friends.
Hvad er det første, du kan huske?
I remember that I was going with my mother to her parents’ home. I can remember that it was a long journey. There was no transportation facility (now I know it is a 6-7 hours walk). We had had to walk. Suddenly there was a big rain in the forest and I was crying. We didn’t have even a umbrella.
Also I remember my mother used to breast feed me until I was 5 years old. In school break time (in 1. grade) I ran home to have breast feed.
Hvad laver du derhjemme?
I played with my 4 sisters and 1 brother.
I followed my mother when she used to go to the fields to work. Our family was dependent on agriculture work. We have had cow, buffalo and goats at shed. I used to give them grass.
Hvad arbejder du som?
Now I am working with hotel service. This job is mostly related with service provided to hotel guests.
Hvad kan du huske om din barndom?
I fell down from the first floor of our home. This happened when I was 4 years old. Still I have the scar/mark of the wound on my head.
I saw a bus/cycle for the first time when I was 8 years old.
Our home was in a remote area of a hilly region. The home is still there.
When I ate meat (goat meat) I vomited
I went to school first time with my sister.
